Ron Ng's "A Chip off the Block" gets complaints for open ending

Ron Ng, Myolie Wu and Sunny Chan stars in TVB "A Chip off the Old Block", last night the finale broadcast receiving 33 points, peaking at 37 points. However, for the very last scene attracted several discussions online. TVB and BA received 2 complaints saying that they did not understand the ending and wastes audience time. Producer (Poon Ka Dak) explained, the open ending is left to the imagination of the audience, allowing them to continue discussing about what could happen.

Erica Yuen attended her sisters cake shop opening. The reporter discussed about Amigo Chui's programme receiving 16 complaints. Erica said "Of course the programme shouldn't be aired. I feel it would affect him even more if it continues to be aired. But now only the girl has made a public announcement and I would advise her not to say anymore. People would feel she is trying to grab attention". The reporter asked her if Amigo failed to pursue her in the past? She replied "I don't know if my job terminated because of him. But what I know is that before I left TVB, I hosted a TV programme with him and he had a bad attitude towards me". (Was his attitude nice when he pursued you?) "Don't say pursue, we had better times".

Linda Chung attended a party organised by her record company. Star Entertainment Executive Herman Ho awarded her a Gold Disc. She said "I am very happy, I did think whether I could be a singer in the past". (You have no confidence?) "No, I do enjoy singing. It is more difficult when you are an actress turned singer".
